Mentor Collective uses a third-party platform (Twilio Sendgrid) as its email service provider in order to provide required account- and mentorship-related communications to its participants and program administrators.
In order to reduce the possibility of important Mentor Collective platform emails getting filtered and potentially being blocked or tagged as spam, we highly recommend all partner institutions add Mentor Collective to their institution's Approved Sender list (otherwise known as “whitelisting” or “allowlisting”).
How To: Add Mentor Collective to Approved Sender List
Your institution's IT department may use a combination of the following information in their system(s) to create a “rule” that ensures that Mentor Collective emails are correctly delivered and aren’t flagged as “spam:”
- Sending IP Addresses
- 168.245.120.96
- 149.72.192.138
Please note that Mentor Collective may add or change these IP addresses on occasion.
- Sending Domains
- mentorcollective.org
- em.mentorcollective.org
- emlink.mentorcollective.org
- parse.mentorcollective.org
Please note that Mentor Collective has enabled domain authentication and sender verification for emails that are sent to users from the Mentor Collective platform.
- Sending Email Address
- help@mentorcollective.org
Mentor Collective follows industry best practices to enable deliverability of these valuable communications, including (but not limited to): using DKIM, DMARC, and SPF, regular monitoring of email deliverability and sender reputation, and providing standard unsubscribe workflows.
