We’re excited to share a recent update that will improve communication for your program participants!
All users will be automatically opted in to receive text messages using the phone numbers provided by their institution—no need for them to manually enter their number. This means more participants will be instantly connected with their mentors or mentees via our SMS relay upon matching.
Previously, 88% of users received text messages after registering. With this update, that number jumps to 95%, ensuring broader access to our most effective communication tool.
If a participant doesn’t provide their own phone number, their institution-provided number will appear in the “Contact Information” section of the Participant Dashboard, ensuring their mentor or mentee can still connect.
