July Monthly Digest 2024

Looking for ways to elevate your institution’s student success strategy? Building a data-informed culture of mentorship is one way to take student success to the next level. In this edition of Mentor Collective’s Monthly Digest, we explore practical ways to achieve this goal.

📈 Partner Dashboard

Your Partner Dashboard holds all of the data necessary to help program coordinators take individual action, monitor aggregate trends, and make program iterations as needed. Review the ins-and-outs of this powerful tool in our Partner Dashboard demo.

❗Flags

Take individual action in response to flags by personally reaching out to mentees and acting on time-sensitive information. Keep track of trending flag topics in aggregate and share these findings with your supervisors to empower data-informed decisions. If you notice an increasing number of flags related to a particular topic, consider what resources you can elevate institution-wide to improve the student experience.

💬 Conversations

You can access comprehensive conversation data in your Partner Dashboard. Capture what students are talking about, consider variation in conversation topics over time, and use these insights to direct your student success strategy. Notice trending topics? Add targeted resources pointing students to services across your institution.

💡Share Insights

Share information, such as flags, across your institution to inform other offices and strengthen your student success strategy. Automatically share data using outbound Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to connect exports to software you already use. Alternatively, you can manually filter exports and send these reports to relevant offices. Flags are also configurable to allow for specific people at your institution to receive notifications.
