The Exports page is your shortcut to all access the raw data for your program, where you can download a CDV file with your program's data to do your own analysis and gain further insights.
Available Data Exports
You can export program data on:
-
Participant Data: Data on all mentees / mentors who have been invited, registered (or deregistered), onboarded, and matched in your program
- You can specify whether you would like to export all participant data, only mentor data, or only mentee data.
- Mentorship Data: Data on all the matched and unmatched pairs in your program
- Priority Flag Data: Details related to all of the priority flags that have been reported in your program
-
Start / Mid / End Assessment Survey Data: All of the responses from the start, end, and or mid-assessment surveys in your program
- If any of these do not appear, then that survey has not been launched in your program.
- Matching Survey Data: All of the responses to your program's matching surveys
- Recruitment Opportunities: Data detailing your waiting mentees' preferred matching criteria, available mentors, and remaining mentor slots needed.
- Conversations Data: Data detailing the conversations that have been reported by mentors and mentees in your program.
- Microsurveys: Data detailing information collected from participants in microsurveys.
If you would like additional details about what is included in each export, please contact Partner Support (partnersupport@mentorcollective.org) for a data dictionary.
How Can I Use This Data?
Once you export your data, you can use it in nearly infinite ways! Here are just a few of the ways this could be useful:
- Import into your own system. The CSV file format can allow you to import data into compatible data systems. Check with your systems administrators and database admins to see if you can use this data with your own systems. In addition, Mentor Collective offers outbound SFTP for automated data transfers.
- Data visualizations. Beyond the charts and graphs available throughout the Partner Dashboard, you can import your data into a data visualization program to make your own charts, graphs, and infographics for institutional reporting.
- In-depth analysis. If your program has data analysis needs that go beyond the tools offered in the Dashboard, these data exports will allow you to do your own data cleaning, analysis, and visualization. Learn more in our impact analysis webinar series!
