How Can I Use These Insights?
The Mentorships page and its tools allow you to gain broad insight into the mentorships in your program, or to drill down into the specific details with ease.
- Dive deeper into mentorships. You can dive further into an Individual Profile page from the Participants page. However, you may often want to view information about a participant in the context of their mentorship. Navigate to the Mentorships Page, search for the individual, and click “View mentorship” to learn more.
- Identify struggling mentorships. Have you noticed that participants haven’t been logging conversations as frequently? Filter by the date of their last conversation to identify who hasn’t connected in the last month. You may want to reach out to these mentorship pairs and encourage them to connect, with some potential discussion topics or resource recommendations.
- Find star mentorships to highlight. Which pair(s) have been logging the most conversations? Sort the Mentorships table by conversations. Which pair(s) have specific target characteristic(s) or demographic(s) in common? Filter by participant-provided demographics and characteristics, or by institution-provided data. Highlight these mentorships anonymously in marketing materials or with program administrators to demonstrate impact through participants’ voices.
FAQs
-
Why am I seeing the same mentee matched with two different mentors?
- By default, the Mentorships page displays all mentorships that have been created in your program, including both active and unmatched mentorships. If the same mentee appears with two different mentors, it usually means they were matched with one mentor, that mentorship was later unmatched, and the mentee was then matched with a new mentor.
-
To identify the mentee's current mentor, you can:
-
Open the mentee's profile to view their mentorship history and current match.
Filter the Mentorships page to display only active mentorships:- Click Filter.
- Scroll to Mentorship filters.
- Under Match status, select Matched.
-
Open the mentee's profile to view their mentorship history and current match.
- The filtered results will show only the mentee's current, active mentorship.
